Sales and Marketing

Once your books are stocked and ready to go, New Shelves Distibution offers a number of sales and marketing programs to get your titles in front of book buyers.

We do not depend entirely upon commission groups or mass catalog mailings, but instead offer book buyers a more focused opportunity to consider each and every title.  We use sales reps, phone, fax and email as well as internet forums to reach out to book buyers on a title-by-title basis. 

If your book is accepted by our review team, New Shelves Distibution will take on the sales of your book to retailers nationwide.  Instead of charging our clients high percentages, administrative fees, and hidden costs for phone calls, follow-up with accounts and order processing we’re thrilled to offer a new and transparent way to sell and market your books.

National Sales Program – Your book will be pitched to all appropriate accounts which may include Barnes & Noble, Borders, Target, Levy, Books-a-Million, Hastings, specialty retailers, wholesalers, gift and mass market.

Regional Sales Campaigns – If your program or budget is not yet ready for national distribution, no problem! We can work with you on strategic regional telemarketing and online campaigns to increase your exposure. If and when your books are ready to be pitched to the national chains, we can discuss moving your list to our Sales Program.
